In this workshop, I will show you how to make a curved bottom boat tray from start to finish. We will use templates and a soft slabs with a bisque mold. After building the wall and refining the form, we will add texture and wax to the piece. I will show how I use digital drawing to generate ideas for composition and then I will etch a design into the leatherhard clay.
