I then went on to study ceramic and other fine arts in college and then in pottery classes and independent study.&nbsp;&nbsp;This journey of creating beautiful functional art work has been wonderful and enlightening, even though there has been many challenges along the way. In my senior year of high school, I entered a vessel in my very first art show, and won first place with that piece. I had given it to my Grandmother, and it was lost after she passed away.&nbsp;&nbsp;Winning that award that was the beginning of this journey of exploring the wonders that clay holds for me. After college I went on to work in the Government sector, and after I retire I plan on doing pottery full time.My goal is to&nbsp;make exceptional functional pottery that is also beautiful art. &nbsp;My wish is that&nbsp;everyone would use&nbsp;and love my&nbsp;pottery&nbsp;as much as I do. I love bright bold colors in almost all aspects of my life.
